Baby Project

My experience with this project was very fun. I enjoyed this project but it made me realize that it is not as easy as it looks to always have a baby with you. I took my baby to work with me and I also took it with me every where I went over spring break. People looked at me and my friends like we were crazy because we were carrying a flower sack around. It was very funny but we had fun with it.

This is a good project for this class because it does teach us life lessons. I think this project should stay the same for next year and the years to come that this class is still offered.

Summary: I had a lot of fun with this project and I am glad that we had to do it. It was a bit of a pain having to carry the baby around everywhere but since I committed to doing it I did it. Despite all the wierd stares and whispers from starngers in stores and around town, I very much enjoyed this project and will miss having to carry the sack of flower around with me.

My First Day As A Parent

1. In the "If I became a teen parent" assignment the response that I got from my mom didnt really surprise me

that much. She told me that if I ever became a teen parent she would help me through it and be my biggest support person. She believes that if your teen becomes pregnant you should just help them through it because it is your child that is going to be going through a very hard thing in their life and you should'nt even ask yourself "should I help her?" it should be an automatic reaction to help your daughter.

2. My friends reactions to the flour baby was very funny. They didnt really understand why I was doing it but once I explained it to them they understood. My boyfriend surprised me a little bit by laughing at me and saying that we look like tweekers carrying the baby around. He is very nice about it though and said he would take the assignment serious since I want to take it serious. I am aloud to take my baby to work with me because my boss thinks that it is a great project for us to be doing.

3. We started the project in a good way. Everyone seemed to have all their stuff together and here on time so I think that we started this project off a good way.

4. When we did the "Baby Costs" project I was a little surprised to see how much it costs to have a baby. It is more expensive then I would have thought. It has made me realize why my mom complians about how expensive it is to buy stuff for my baby sister.
